2021 Jean Marie River First Nation, experienced a major floor during the spring, and now residents continue to be housed in workman trailers. GNWT requested internet access for the residents throughout the work trailers. Katlotech installed all required access points, backhaul radios, firewalls networking systems to bring internet access.
2021 Lac La Ronge Indian Band in Saskatchewan required a fiber-optic connection between two schools and extend the existing fiber connection. KatloTech communications were hired to train, and install an underground conduit and pull fiber optic cable between two buildings.
2021 Katlotech installed satellite internet, Katlotech video server over 5Ghz Wi-Fi access points for Rowes Construction remote highway construction camp located on NWT Highway 2. We installed all switches, outdoor cat6, wifi access points throughout the 60-man camp.
2020 Katlotech installed a new security camera system for Joint Task Force North hanger located in Yellowknife, NWT. We installed all switches, outdoor cat6, and fiber optic cabling systems, security cameras, axis security DVR, central control station, and monitors.
2020 Katlotech upgraded Super8 Hotel's network located in Yellowknife. We removed old mismatched cat5 networking cables and installed all new Cat6 cabling, faceplates, server rack to help modernize their 15-year-old outdated existing network.
2020 Katlotech installed a new robust network for Ph8 Studio located in Yellowknife. We installed a new client internet secure access portal for Ph8 customers and backup server to Ph8 Studio to backup important workstation information.
2019 September Katlotech designed, installed 600 meters of ADSS 32 strand single-mode fiber network cable capable of 1Gbps network speeds for ATCO in Inuvik, NT.
2019 KatloTech Communications completed a whole new Cat6 network installation for CDETNO New NWT Career Center located in the Diamond Plaza in Yellowknife, NT. We installed all cables, faceplates, keystones, and switch networking solutions for all workstations including a new Wi-Fi setup and security cameras.
2018 KatloTech installed new patch panels, faceplates, cat6 wiring, and keystones throughout the new section of Explorer Hotel. Also, we installed and terminated all RG6 cables and connectors for CCTV, wireless networking junction access points for 72 additional new suites for the hotel located in Yellowknife, NT.
2018 Katlotech installed a new office network upgrade for the local administration office, both wired and wireless network for Jean Marie River First Nation. In addition, we moved all their office workstation to new SSD's, monitors, UPS and installed a new local cache server for both backups and redundancy.
2017 Katlotech was contracted to help City of Yellowknife's to bring both the sewage and water utilities on a localized wireless network to help better maintain a localized automation and facility remote access.
In 2016, we were instrumental in the design, build of material and final deployment of a fiber-optic infrastructure for DeBeers Canada Gahcho Kue Diamond Mine Project, located 280km northeast of Yellowknife.
In 2016, we were instrumental in the design, build of material, and deployment of a 1.3Gbps wireless backbone network infrastructure for Yellowknives Dene First Nation, to connect two communities that are 12 km apart.
