What We Do
- Fiber Optic Networks: KatloTech will Build, own and operates a 329 km, 288-strand underground fiber optic backbone, delivering ultra-secure, high-capacity connectivity for governments, carriers, and enterprise clients across the North.
- IceFox Data Center: Our flagship, modular, Tier III-equivalent data center is hydro-powered and snow-cooled, providing secure colocation, AI/HPC hosting, and sovereign data services on Treaty 8 land. All data remains within Indigenous/Canadian jurisdiction, governed by OCAP® principles.
- Data Sovereignty & Governance: We are pioneers in Indigenous data governance, offering Data-as-a-Service, analytics, and compliance solutions that respect privacy, reconciliation, and community co-governance.
- Strategic Partnerships: KatloTech partners with industry leaders—Ciena, Lenovo, NVIDIA, Noramco, Hallwood Milham, Applecross Innovations, FONEX, and others—to deliver robust, future-ready technology, while prioritizing Indigenous hiring and training.

Micheal Miltenberger
Investor & Advisor; former NWT Minister of Finance
Michael Miltenberger is a former Northwest Territories Minister of Finance and long-serving MLA, with extensive experience in public finance, infrastructure, and Indigenous-government collaboration across the North. Over his career, he has helped shape territorial budgets, major capital projects, and environmental and resource policy. As an investor and advisor to KatloTech, Michael supports our strategy, government relations, and project financing, helping position our open-access fiber and IceFox data center initiatives within federal and territorial priorities for reconciliation, green infrastructure, and Northern sovereignty.

Sherry McCuller
Advisor; Founder & Managing Director, Peregrine Management Partners
Sherry McCuller is the Founder and Managing Director of Peregrine Management Partners, specializing in financing and deploying advanced fibre‑optic networks in rural and remote regions across North America. A former Analyst, Vice President, and Chief Information Officer at Bowles, Hollowell, Conner & Co., she has raised more than half a billion dollars for long‑haul, middle‑mile, and last‑mile broadband projects in communities major carriers deemed too difficult or unprofitable to serve. As a Board of Advisor to KatloTech, Sherry supports strategy and project financing, with a focus on ownership and governance models that keep critical infrastructure in local and Indigenous hands.
